Adding Payments


You can add payments, including income or expenses, as well as transfers between accounts. These could be one-off payments, repeating bills or a regular amount transfered to savings. Payments can be either one-off or recurring, e.g. weekly, fortnightly, monthly, etc. For recurring payments with different intervals, the app will calculate the monthly amount to give you a better understanding of how your payments add up.


To add Income or an expense, follow the steps below.

  1. Open the Options Menu
  2. Under Payments, tap Income or Expenses
  3. Tap Add more…
  4. Enter the amount for the payment - enter the amount you normally pay if it repeats
  5. Enter a name for the payment, e.g. Rent, Power, etc
  6. Select the next date the payment will be made
  7. Select the frequency of the payment
  8. If you would like a reminder, select the time you want to be reminded
  9. Select a category for the payment
  10. If you have multiple accounts, select the account this payment will be made from/to
  11. Leave the payment enabled
  12. Enter any notes you like about the payment
  13. Tap Save

To add a transfer, follow the steps below.

  1. Open the Options Menu
  2. Under Payments, tap Transfers
  3. Tap Add more…
  4. Enter the amount for the payment - enter the amount you normally pay if it repeats
  5. Enter a name for the payment, e.g. Rent, Power, etc
  6. Select the next date the payment will be made
  7. Select the frequency of the payment
  8. If you would like a reminder, select the time you want to be reminded
  9. Select a category for the payment
  10. Select the account this payment will be made from
  11. Select the account this payment will be made to
  12. Leave the payment enabled
  13. Enter any notes you like about the payment
  14. Tap Save
